American Star Records is opening a new music retail outlet for independent music releases on the world famous Venice Beach in Los Angeles, CA. One of the most visited locations on the US West Coast with millions of Us and international visitors year round. We are now accepting independent music CD and Video products from artists, producers, labels, production groups, studios, agents, managers and promoters the USA and around the world. How to sell your CD's at American Star Records in Los Angeles What AMERICAN STAR does: Fill out our "Retailing Submission Form" and how you want your CD described for in -store promotion. Mail us your packaged, barcoded and wrapper CDs for shelving and some for promotional "Give-Aways". *SPECIAL NEW DUPLICATING SERVICE FOR NEW RETAIL CLIENTS: If you only have a few copies of your self-produced CD left, but have the master audio files and original or updated artwork, we will duplicate 2000 new copies with full color jackets and shrinlwrap them for sale in our store for only: ($350.). As a Retail Client Artist you also get 200 copies of the new CD free, for your promotional uses. Now you can have your CD duplicated and shelved ar our L.A. music store and promoted on radio and TV in L.A. market for the combined deposits of ($150.) & ($350.) = only ($500.00). We will take all credit card orders for your CD in the store, or online, and ship it to them within 24 hours! We email you every time your CD is sold. How the AMERICAN STAR SALES REVENUE is structured: You set your CD retail selling price at whatever price you want. We keep just $3.00 per CD sold. You get to set your "CD Retail Price" - so you really can be paid whenever you want! We pay you, the Artist Client a sales check every month! There is a one-time-ever ($150.00) deposit to set up your Client Account for your new CD's in our store, with everything we described above. Saw you perform in Provincetown this last October....what an incredible delight...I hope that you are planning to be in provincetown again next year for womens week, as we have told all our friends about you two.....bought your cd's, after your show, and after listening over and over, we are still so taken in by your sound. Hello gals, I'm so glad I got to see and talk to you a bit at Toni A.'s Halloween party the other night. Thanks too for offering me a comp. for your Stargaze performance... that was very nice of you! Unfortunately, I obviously didn't make it there and I'm really sorry I couldn't get to see/hear you again! Going to weekend/evening events in increasingly difficult for me with the progression of my disability and the greater unlikelihood of my finding parking close to my building (ie. in my very congested neighborhood) when I return home after 8pm. Seeing you Saturday night, with your next performance on Sunday, didn't give me enough time to find a ride, as I had for Toni's party; someone from the party who drove me home thought she might go to your performance and thereby had offered to drive/pick me up, but she couldn't go afterall. I do hope your performances were all you wanted them to be and you had a decent audience too. Please do include me on your mailing list, so when you come back into Chicago I'll have plenty of time to schedule transportation to/from your performance venue! I tried entering my email address (ie. a few times) on your home page, but it kept tossing me out, saying what I wrote wasn't a valid email addr. Of course, I can't argue with your software glitches, but you might want to take a look at that as a possible problem for others too. So after all that, I wish you well and hope to catch your gig next time you come to "Chi-town"! As usual, Laurie p.s. Long, long, dark nights, endless programming sessions, this summer. But when the heat of the day turns into a comfortable warmth, the noise around retreats a deep, deep silence, I deeply enjoy your sounds on my ears, again and again, even start to sing silently (only if i'm sure that nobody's around...). Now it slowly turns out that this is not enough: I'd really like to see you live, on stage. When do you perform in Germany? I'd even consider taking a trip to Ireland...
